Preheat: Heat oven to 400°F - 425°F (follow bags instructions), line the largest baking tray you have with foil, evenly space tater tots on the tray.
Boil: In a large pot, fill with water and bring to a roiling boil.
Cook: Place brats in the water and let cook for approximately 10min; or until brats begin to float.
Preheat: Warm the grill to medium heat (350°F).
Bake: Shortly after the brats have been placed in the water. Place tater tots in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes; flipping tots over half way through.
Transfer: Once brats are cooked (approximately 10 min or when they begin to float) transfer to a preheated grill.
Grill: Grill the brats for a few minutes each side (3-5min) to develop a nice sear.
Rest: Pull brats off the grill and allow them to rest for a few minutes.
